Good design. Zero judgement.
Foolish Studio is an interior design studio in Queenstown, working across New Zealand and Australia. We help homes look like the people who live in them.
Hi, I’m Jessie - founder and lead designer of Foolish Studio.
I spent years helping global brands work out who they are. Turns out houses have the same problem.
In pursuit of a more creative life, I retrained in interior design, swapped London for Queenstown and started a studio of my own to help homes find their personality again.
Same skill, new brief.
Good to know.
Your weird heirloom is safe with us. It's probably the best thing in the room.
Bold doesn't mean impractical. Everything gets planned around real life, mess included.
We'll push you a little. Only ever a little.
No designer-speak. If we can't explain it simply, we shouldn't be suggesting it.
Not in Queenstown? No problem. We can work remotely anywhere in NZ or Australia, and we'll happily travel for the right project.
Got a studio, café or shop? We bring the same ethos into commercial design. Just say the word.
Kind Words
“Jessie made our small house functional and welcoming. She listened to what we aspired for and made the entire process such a breeze. We’d be lost without her!”
